I really don't know why most of the People hate this new edition. It isn't that bad... I played 2nd, 3rd 3.5 , and although 2nd still holds special place in my heart I think this new edition is refreshing. There is certain atmosphere it has... if you forget about the fact the books are written preety simple. Although that is positive in some aspects, it could seem like insult to someones inteligence.
Other things people resent are healing surges. Hmmm, vital energy each person has... well it limits amount of power each character can have, no more unlimited healing... Well yes it is sometimes unrealistic to just be all bloodied and stuff and then you just say I use 2 healing surges and all blood goes away well in my opinion it should be role playsed and use heal skill to add little realism... and although no more damaged, characters still have wounds if they don't use healing powers, they just feel refreshed and ready to fight again and they wounds are binded and bleeding no more... well that's my interpretation. So no healing powers or potions equals lot's of scars
Ah, ofcourse there are those who love 4th edition. I know some of those people... they are cool and I respect them. As for others who won't give 4th edition a chance... hmm well you do not know what you're missing

Anyway this autum we're continuing our campaign in 4th edition. I don't know what will be with cleric and rogue... if they'll play with us or desert us. Hmmm in any case we'll find someone to replace them if they leave.
What we have now is Half elf Wizardess like that word wizzzardes... str 10 dex 13 con 16 int 19 wis 14 cha 16 ... and human paladin which likes to sneak around ... tipical paladin
For the elven rogue I'm not sure if she'll continue, same goes for Human cleric of heironeus...
It is interesting how those character were a good team well they'll have to fill their roles with other people... in any case I must leave now... untill then practice your swings and bash evil orchish heads for the dragon god!!!
